Der Kurzfilmpreis des Unabhängigen FilmFest Osnabrück wird von einer Jury, bestehend aus Studenten und einer Expertin, explizit an studentische Arbeiten aus dem Kurzfilmprogramm vergeben. Der Preis wird in Kooperation mit dem Studentenwerk Osnabrück verliehen und ist mit 1.500 Euro dotiert.

The Short Film Award of the Independent FilmFest Osnabrück, endowed with 1,500 Euro, goes to one student film among this year’s selected short films. The movie that receives the Short Film Award will be chosen by a jury consisting of one expert and a several students. The Award is donated by the parliament of studying people of the University of Osnabrück.
